INNER PLANETS

Inner planets are also known as Terrestrial planets, they are the closest planets from the Sun namely Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars. These planets have a solid compositions, rocky/liquid innercores, mantles and crusts, usually made up of metal, silicate and a rocky surface.

These planets are much more faster and smaller than outer planets, because they are nearer and have a shorter orbital path. They dont have ring systems and have a smaller amount of satellites in them.
